Marylyn is originally from Montclair, N.J. She has a B.A. from Montclair State University and a M.S. from Western Connecticut State College . She moved to New Milford in 1964 and built a house in Warren in 1967-68. She was an elementary art teacher in New Milford. A reader of biographies, she has always had an interest in how events shape peoples lives. With her late husband, Larry Hendricks she created the Warren Historical Society’s Oral History Library. She continues to collect interviews and enjoys hearing local stories.
